Scottish Country Dancer is the magazine of the RSCDS. It aims to inform, entertain, and inspire Scottish country dancers; to be the prime means of communication from RSCDS Headquarters to all members, and a forum for members; and to broaden awareness of the rich country dance heritage of Scotland. It also promotes the objects of the Society and the strategic aims of the Management Board. It is issued twice yearly, in April and October, and is delivered free to all members.

The magazine’s Editorial Board is responsible to the Management Board. As at October 2011, the Editorial Board are:
