Renée Campbell

Renée Campbell was awarded a scroll at the 2002 RSCDS AGM, nominated by Delft Branch. Here is the citation which accompanied the presentation.

Renée began dancing in 1965 whilst living in England. She gained her full certificate in 1974 and founded the St Andrew's SCD group in 1975 in Brussels. She has been a promoter of SCD ever since.

Not only has Renée been teaching the weekly classes for many years, but every year there has been a day school and ball with a teacher and musician from the RSCDS. The event is international and people from all over Europe and UK attended. Many of them former group members and happy to return for the occasion. This year there were 105 dancers in the "École Militaire" in Brussels.
