Sally Dee
Sally Dee is a familiar face and name throughout the Scottish Country Dancing community both on the east coast of the United States and also nearly everywhere across North America and abroad. It is hard to find someone who hasn't danced with her, been taught by her, or had their kilt sewn by her. She has left her mark wherever she has been.
Sally's infectious laugh and joy for dancing have been attracting people of all ages to her classes for over 30 years. The number of dancers who can claim that Sally taught them to dance is too great even to mention.
Sally has been a very valuable member of the Boston Branch. She has never hesitated to serve on a committee, chair an event, host a party, teach a class, or fulfil any role that needed to be attended to, from devising a programme, MC'ing a party, to conducting a workshop.
The work Sally has done in publicising Scottish Country Dancing and the Society means that this honour is well deserved.
