Children in Need 2010 |

BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK corporate charity. The
annual telethon (Friday 19 November 2010) is one of the highs of the BBC
calendar and all sorts of activities take place all across the UK around this
time to raise funds to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and
young people across the UK (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/
for more information). Pudsey Bear is the “mascot” which personifies the
charity.
Many Branches and Groups in the UK will be holding “Pudsey”
events, which we will list on this website, follow the link below to find out
what is happening. The big event this year is in Dumfries, on Saturday 23 October

your way to Dumfries on Saturday 23 October 2010 to Dance Scottish for Pudsey!

There will be all types of Scottish dancing, country, ceilidh, old time and
highland. Events take place at DG One in Dumfries. You can dance in fancy dress
to support BBC Children in Need! Enter a team, come and meet Pudsey who will be
there in person (or in bear!). In the evening, there is a country dance, also
at DG One.
