Over the last few years, Dance Scottish Week has become a firm feature of the Scottish dance calendar worldwide. As a result of feedback, Dance Scottish 2011 will run from Friday 4 November to Saturday 3 December – that’s right, it’s longer and will include St Andrew’s Day. We hope the extended timescale and the inclusion of St Andrew’s Day will encourage even more Branches, Affiliated Groups and clubs worldwide to focus on Dance Scottish to promote Scottish country dancing to the general public and to recruit new dancers.  Some Branches may have already plans for running Dance Scottish Week events in September – that is fine, there are no dates on the promotional materials and we will be happy to promote Dance Scottish events, whenever they are.

Colouring competition

We are once again holding a colouring competition for children aged 12 and under. Download the colouring competition template/form here, and get those colouring pens and paints out - there will be prizes of RSCDS goodie-bags for the winners. ** The closing date has been extended to 30 November!**
