| Spring Fling |

is held at different venues, usually in the UK, in late March, early April every year. It is an event organised by young people, for young people (age 16-35). Spring Fling runs from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime, and is a mixture of Scottish country dance and other classes for all levels of dancers from beginners to very advanced. This event is organised by a local group of young people, usually with the support of the local Branch and groups, together with the support of the Youth Services Committee. Spring Fling 2014Our first ever Spring Fling event outside the UK will be in Lyon, France from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th April 2014 (Easter Bank Holiday weekend). Musicians: Lindsey Ibbotson, Adam Brady, Martainn Skene, Kevin Williams There will be a Highland workshop and a musicians' workshop in addition to the usual classes - more information will be posted here as soon as it is available. The weekend is being organised/run in conjunction with RSCDS Lyon Branch.
