Throughout the entire history of the RSCDS so many of our members have generously given us their time and enthusiasm. It is the dedication of such people that has enabled the RSCDS to achieve all that it has in the past 96 years.
"Be part of the future of the RSCDS and Scottish Country Dancing by making a gift or legacy"
We are fortunate to have benefited from financial gifts and legacies. The scale of the donations the RSCDS has received over the years has varied enormously, but each and every one is important.
You can donate to the RSCDS through a number of methods including via RSCDS JUSTGIVING.COM

How will my gift help?
As a result of the donations we received, in 2017 we were pleased to award over £10,000 worth of scholarships to a range of dancers and musicians from many different countries. Applicants came from a great range of backgrounds and were of different ages and levels of experience. These scholarships allowed the applicants to attend RSCDS events such as Summer School and Spring Fling, as well as enabling participation on many different teacher training courses. Some of our funds have stipulations on how they can be spent - you can discover more here.
In addition to scholarships, donations also help us to support Branches in funding specific projects. The money is also used to develop joint initiatives with Branches and Groups to deliver one-off workshops, and introduce new training courses.
Many gifts and legacies are made for very personal reasons and often to act as a memorial for a family member or friend. We welcome conversations with potential donors who might like to see a particular project or idea developed.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a form of income tax relief designed to benefit charities like the RSCDS. If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid increases the value of your charity donations by 25% because the charity can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift at no extra cost to you.
