Photography Notice & Permission
During certain events and classes the RSCDS has a photogrpaher on hand to capture images and video of dancers and musicians for future promotional purposes. The Society feels that it is important to document dance proceedings as it is a fantastic way to show the world just how much fun SCD can be, preserve these moments for future generations, and showcase some of the amazing dancing that takes place!
However, we recognise that some individuals do not wish to be photographed and have their image broadcasted, and we must respect their wishes.
In this case we recommend that each Branch and Affiliated Group download the documents below. This will ensure that each event participant is aware they will be on camera, and in certain cases, give the Society permission to use their likeliness for any future promotional materials.
If you have any questions regarding the above documents or the use of photography during RSCDS events, please contact us at: email@example.com.
In addition, if you would like to use a photo from our Photo Gallery, please contact us for permission and we will be happy to provide you with a High Resolution format.
The first of a series of photographs of Scottish country dancers and SCD-related images are now available to order from HQ at no charge (but if to be used for professional or commercial purposes, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org).
Browse the portfolio by clicking on the link below, note the reference number(s) of your selection(s) and email email@example.com to request hi-resolution versions of the image(s).

RSCDS Archive Catalogue
The Catalogue is available online as a PDF file. To view the catalogue you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader or an alternative.
You are welcome to download, copy, and print any part of the catalogue but remember that this is a very large file that is not for printing in full. If you plan to re-publish sections of the catalogue, please recognise RSCDS as the source.
Finally, the catalogue is a “work in progress” and will be updated at intervals. Your comments are valuable to us in steering future development and we hope you will use the response link (firstname.lastname@example.org) to give us feedback and suggestions.
