Summer School 2018!

Come and join us in St. Andrews for another fun-filled month of music and dancing! Held over four weeks, Summer School is the premier event run by the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

What is Involved at Summer School?

Each week features fantastic dance instruction, social dance and formal get togethers. Dancers who come to Summer School will stay on the grounds of St. Andrews University at either University Hall or Agnes Blackadder, which is only a short walk away from downtown St. Andrews (where most of the venues for classes are located).

Please note: Residents of Agnes Blackadder will not have a keycard for University Hall and will need to ring the bell in order to be let in to the building.

Dancers can book a single or double room, and we try our best to place you near friends and family. Three meals are included every day, but there is no stopping you going in to town for some delicious fish and chips!

Week 1: 15 - 22 July

Junior Summer School

Back for the third year in a row, Junior Summer School is growing and we are thrilled to welcome all the wee ones during Week Three for some fun, fitness and friendship!

Last year was our biggest Junior Summer School yet and we are looking to build upon that success in 2018. Fancy bringing your child along to learn how to dance? Get some exercise? Or perhaps make life-long friends? Say no more, Junior Summer School is the perfect fit. While you go to class and learn the finer points and brush up on technique, our skilled and qualified teachers (whom are members of our Youth Services Committee) will watch over the wee ones until its time to meet up at the end of the day.

Your child will learn how to dance, make arts & crafts, listen to music, and above all be active and make friends with other like minded children.

We encourage you to bring the family during Week Three of Summer School as there is truly something for everyone!
