Have you thought about creating a new RSCDS Branch?

It’s now easier than you think.

One of the objectives of the RSCDS business plan is to facilitate the formation of new Branches, to encourage more people to Dance Scottish and to increase the numbers of individual members of the RSCDS. The good news is that the new Branch application form has been simplified and the criteria updated to make it easier to form a new Branch.

One important change is that you are no longer required to have at least two qualified teachers.

You can find information about starting a Branch on the new website here.

The new application form is downloadable as a PDF on that page.

Whether you are in an Affiliated Group or an independent dancing group we encourage you to look at the new criteria and consider applying for Branch status. The Office at 12 Coates Crescent will be pleased to help you if you need any advice and support completing the form. We look forward to hearing from you.

We encourage you to try Scottish Country Dancing for yourself to see just how much fun it can be, so please come along and learn how to 'Dance Scottish'.
