Selkirk Children's Class remember HM The Queen

Selkirk Children's Class

Roxburgh, Selkirk and Peebles' Children's Class paid tribute to HM The Queen on Saturday 17th September.  They performed four dances in the Market Place, one of which was named by a member of Primary 6&7 class as The Queen's Choice.

They were joined by an accordionist and a local Piper who had played to Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Balmoral Castle.

The dancers were introduced by the Provost and two Primary 7 girls laid flowers at the Market Place Memorial which is Sir Walter Scott.  A large group of people were present to watch this event.

Thanks to Maureen Buckley for sending this tribute in.
