Updates to Database (CDB)

Following our recent Branch mailing entitled ‘Important Information – Please read’, dated 16th August, with information about the renewal membership function, we are pleased to tell you that the database (CDB) has been updated and improved. Branch administrators can now renew multiple members’ data at once. We intended to make the renewal process smoother and have made important changes to Branch dashboards. We invite Branch administrators to take a look at their own dashboard to see the updates.

We are also pleased to announce that members can now opt for receiving the magazine in a digital format. At present all members receive the magazine by post twice a year, April and October. For this October edition, we are introducing the digital edition of the Scottish Country Dancer magazine. Members can now opt to receive the digital copy instead of the paper copy. If the option is not ticked then members will continue to receive the paper copy of the magazine.*

We are always looking for ways to improve the database and would like to thank all our Branch administrators and members again for their patience and comments which help us develop the RSCDS site.

 *Remember to update your members’ postal address or email address before the 18th of September to receive the October edition of the Scottish Country Dancer.
