Brighouse Scottish Country Dance Club

Group profile

Brighouse Scottish Country Dance Club in West Yorkshire meet at Waring Green Community Centre on Marion Street, Brighouse HD6 2BJ, every Thursday at 7.30 and on the second Saturday of the month, also at 7.30. The Saturday dance includes supper and sometimes a band.
We are a club rather than a class but we make all-comers welcome whether they have danced before or not, and most dances are walked through. If people feel they need tuition, we can refer them to nearby classes.
The Club started in the fifties and some of our members have been with us since the early days, proof it seems of the long-term benefits of Scottish country dancing. We dance throughout the year; at Brighouse the season never ends!
We look forward to seeing you some time soon.
