Dublin Scottish Country Dance Club

Group profile

Dublin Scottish Country Dance Club was founded in 1966 by a group of Scots. The club has been continuously active and the membership is now international, with a broad age range.
The Club meets on Thursday nights at Dun Laoghaire Presbyterian Church hall, with step and formation practice most weeks from 7:30pm and dancing from 8:15pm. Instruction is shared between three dancers on a rota and we are very lucky to have live music provided by John and Judy Barnes on accordion and fiddle respectively.
We are always happy to welcome visitors and new members of all ages and fitness levels, whether experienced dancers or beginners.
We hold a dance and a ceilidh during the year, and are available for displays or special events.
See our website https://dancescottishdublin.org/ and our social media pages, or contact our Secretary secretary@dublin-scd.com for more details.
