Branch profile
The Forfar Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society was formed on the 29th October, 1934.
We meet for dance class every Tuesday evening September to March, except the second Tuesday of the month, at 7:30pm in St Johns Church Hall, Green Street, Forfar DD8 3AR.
We are a fun group who enjoy our dancing.
Everyone is welcome to join us, whether a member or not.
The health benefits of Scottish Country Dancing are well documented, and tuition is provided.
During the lockdown time, Lorna Valentine has been running zoom dance classes for the Forfar Branch for a number of weeks starting at 7.30 to 8.30. They finished for this year on Tuesday 15th December but will resume either 4th or 11th January. If anyone is interested they can contact Lorna on lorna.valentine@sky.com for joining details.
George T Watt is also running a zoom class for the Round O dance group in Arbroath on a Friday evening also 7.30 to 8.30. For joining details please contact georgetwatt@hotmail.com
