Isle of Thanet Scottish Country Dancers

Group profile

On the 12th September 1979, the Isle of Thanet Scottish Country Dancers were formed as an independent club. Prior to that time the group were part of the Hilderstone Further Education College.

Three different homes, six chairmen and over thirty years later the club is going strong, with membership fluctuating over the years, it has remained at a fairly healthy level of 40 to 50 members.
