Group profile

Welcoming Scottish Country Dancers in the Yeovil and South Somerset area

We are a group of dancers in the Yeovil, South Somerset and Dorset area, who meet weekly and enjoy Scottish Country Dancing. We dance at the Davis Hall, West Camel, BA22 7QX on Thursday evenings 7.30 - 9.30pm. The Davis Hall has quick access to A303 with a large car park and a beautiful sprung floor. Dancing is an excellent exercise, and moreover, it cheers you up- the dances are varied, and learning them exercises the brain as well as the body- the recent lockdowns have proved to all of us the value of exercising and of meeting and interacting with people who share the sheer joy of dancing. We welcome new beginners, current dancers and any visitors to the area.
We have danced regularly since Thursday 9th September 2021.

“Happiness is Scottish Country Dancing” is so true!
