Branch profile

Welcome to Toronto, a city where we love to dance. From September to May you can dance every night of the week (Monday to Friday) at one of our 20+ groups spread across the Greater Toronto Area. There are also often special sessions on a Sunday afternoon. Once a month the groups all join for our Monthly dance to live music on Saturday night. We include two balls in our season (the Tartan Ball in February and the West Toronto Ball in May), two workshops (the Toronto workshop in November and the West End workshop in March), and In June we all gather together on Tuesday evenings to dance to live music in the park. We are looking forward to being the first North American city to host Spring Fling and Spring Fringe in May 2020. www.springfling2020.com

With classes available for a range of abilities we offer something for everyone. Start when you’re four or start when you’re seventy-four (or any age in between), and then keep on dancing for the rest of your life. Scottish country dance is an enjoyable way to stay in shape both physically and mentally and is a great way to meet new people.
