Branch profile
The Washington DC branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) is home to multiple groups across the Maryland region. With assistance from the Northern Virginia branch, we celebrate Royal Scottish Country Dancing through the DMV area.
We offer regular classes throughout the week, including a college group at the University of Maryland every Wednesday evening and a beginner's class at the National Institute of Health twice a month on Fridays. In addition to classes, we also hold an annual weekend event - A Capital Weekend. During this weekend event, we host a guest teacher from over the pond, hold two evening dances with great musicians, Saturday classes, and a special topics class on the last day.
Please visit our website for more information on our classes and events: http://www.rscds-greaterdc.org/.
Happy dancing!
