Un fin de semana de baile y discusión

La Conferencia General Anual (AGM) reúne el mayor número de participantes en un solo evento de la Sociedad durante un fin de semana en Perth, Escocia. 500 asistentes, principalmente del Reino Unido, Norteamérica y Europa Continental, participan en clases, foros de debate y talleres. Tanto si asisten como delegados o como espectadores, todos disfrutan de los eventos sociales que rodean el tema central de la AGM. El viernes que precede a la recepción y Gran Baile del sábado, podrás escoger entre un baile o un Ceilidth informal (abierto a todos).

Friday

Kicking off the AGM & Conference Weekend is the Teaching Conference, which runs from 10am until 4pm. In the evening guests have the choice between a Ceilidh or a Country Dance, and if you like you can even go to both!

Please note that attendees will need to book their own accommodation. We suggest booking early as local establishments tend to sell out quite fast.

Saturday

A full day of events awaits all those who make their way to the Bell's Sports Centre on Saturday. From a talk on the RSCDS Archives to a general class, and of course the Open Forum and our Annual General Meeting, members will be immersed in all things Scottish Country Dance.

Carrying on from the day's activities is the evening Formal Ball, where attendees dress their best for a civic reception and a night of brilliance.
