Winter School 2022

More details will be confirmed soon

Ordinarily Winter School takes place over five days in the town of Pitlochry and the event attracts around 150 dancers from the UK, continental Europe, North America and Australasia. In 2021, the traditional Winter School event was cancelled, but we hope you enjoyed our replacement virtual event, A Winter Evening.

A Winter Evening 2021

Since it was not possible for dancers to join together in Pitlochry for the 2021 RSCDS Winter School, we hope you enjoyed connecting online instead through “Dance Scottish A Winter Evening”.

Hosted by William Williamson, Chairman Elect and Winter School Co-Ordinator there was a playlist of popular dances to RSCDS recorded music accompanied by videos of dancing from RSCDS events with photos and background dance information. Each video was introduced by the 2022 Winter School Teachers and the evening included musical moments from the 2022 Winter School Musicians.

Enjoy watching the recording of the event from a cosy sofa or dance around the living room!
