RSCDS Schools
- The Society holds several annual schools for dancers and musicians: Summer School in St Andrews, mid-July to mid-August, Winter School in Pitlochry in late February, and Music Courses, both at Summer School and elsewhere.

Examinations & Training
- The RSCDS organises a comprehensive programme of examinations and tests including the Teaching Certificates Parts 1 and 2, the Dancing Proficiency Assessment for adults, and graded Medal Tests for young people.

Core Programme for Tutors (extracts) - interim document
- "The Core Programme for Tutors: a synopsis by Lesley C Martin", is out of print. It is currently being updated by the Education and Training Committee. As an interim measure, to assist current candidates, an extract has been produced and can be down-loaded (or printed directly) from here.

Manual Amendments
- As many of you are aware, the existing edition of the Manual has a few typographical errors in it. Some were perpetuated from the previous edition and some escaped the proof reading process. Although many teachers have already noted these and made their own amendments, the RSCDS is now producing a sheet of errata to correct basic errors. A summary of the amendments is as follows:-
