Information for young adult, teenage and child dancers, and those who work with them.

Appointment of New Youth Director: Jayne Browns’s term of office as Youth Director will be completed in November 2009. Her successor will be appointed in June 2009, in order to give some overlap before Jayne demits office. The Management Board will consider all applications, and will make the appointment at their meeting on 27 June 2009.
Spring Fling: "Spring Fling" is an annual weekend of dancing run for young people by young people.
Children's Activities Policy: The policy of the RSCDS is to safeguard all children and young people from physical, sexual and emotional harm while taking part in Scottish country dancing activities.

"Dance Scottish" Schools pack: The RSCDS has produced a pack "Dance Scottish" for teachers and workers with children and young people and has been endorsed by 'Learning and Teaching Scotland'.
