Aberdeen Branch Christmas Dance

Aberdeen Branch Christmas Dance

What a wonderful Christmas dance we had at Ashdale Hall on Friday 8th December and we were delighted to have Chair of the RSCDS William Williamson and his lovely wife Linda with us for his first dancing event of our new century.

Music was from the fantastic The James Coutts 4 piece SCD Band. They played for the demonstration from our Junior Members too and what a superb display we had, well done to Emma our Teacher for the wonderful choreography, you are a star!

Delicious mince pies, shortbread, prosecco and hot drinks were enjoyed, thanks to Anna and the events team.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to our raffle by buying tickets or bringing prizes - our charity was for Friends of ANCHOR, a very worthwhile cause and the amazing sum of £700 was raised.

Thanks to all our members and friends for their support - with over 120 dancers still on the floor for Auld Lang Syne, it was a fantastic, well supported event!
