London (Canada) Branch celebrate Coronation

London (Canada) Branch Coronation Ball

On Saturday 6th May, the London (Canada) Branch held a Coronation Ball to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.  Branch members as well as guests from a number of neighbouring branches and groups attended, many resplendent in tiaras and fascinators.  The Grand March finished with the singing of God Save the King and O Canada, and we toasted King Charles - King of the United Kingdom and His Other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth - before dinner.

Good food was enjoyed by all, and the dance programme included some ‘coronation themed’ dances with music provided by Scotch Mist, and the Branch Award was presented to Margaret Campbell at the break.
