A new venture for St Andrews Branch

St Andrews Branch Family dance

Inspired by what several other branches are doing, the St Andrews Branch ran a successful Family Dance last autumn. Thanks to the positive feedback, three more such family events were planned for early this year at the Bowling Club in St Andrews on a Sunday afternoon.

The first one, on 4th February, was attended by 22 children and 17 adults and a great time was had by all. The next two events will be held on the 3rd and 24th March.

Committee member Nicky Gilbert has been enthusiastically looking for ways to reach out to children and, in addition to the Sunday afternoon dances, has managed to book an event at an after school club.  It is hoped to run a training course for some of the parents so that they can help with teaching the classes.
