Basic Teaching Skills

These short courses provide dancers with a brief introduction to the various skills involved in teaching SCD. They are held frequently, wherever and whenever there is sufficient local interest.

Core Training for Instructors

The CTI is planned to solve problems of access to existing RSCDS teacher training by making extensive use of digital media and mentored teaching practice.

Teaching Certificate

Spread over 2+ years and providing a thorough grounding, the Teaching Certificate includes two examined training courses in teaching skills, a practical dancing exam and mentored teaching practice.
